The September meeting provided an opportunity for a small group of members to listen to Katie Griffiths, iO Head of Communications, talk about promoting practice and ideas on how to engage healthcare professionals as well as the public.
Claire Piper then led a quick tour through the changes to the OPS and we had an interesting discussion on how to record consent within our practices. Please find attached the slides from the OPS talk which detail all the changes from the 2012 to 2019 standards and highlight some points around consent, the iO slides will follow.
